Code of Practice & Guide to Applying

Code of Practice

The Code of Practice details the essential elements and the relationship between Enterprise Inns and our retailers and clearing sets out the basis of our partnership and our on-going joint commitments.

First Step - Just Browse

You can look at our pubs currently available for tenancy or lease by using our online search engine, which can be found at the top of every page, at anytime.  You can search by location or postcode.

Second Step - Create an Account

At the top left of the page you will see a tab labelled "My Account”.  The main benefits for creating an account are:

  • To gain more information about available pubs
  • Set your search parameters
  • Receive automatic updates
  • Store pubs within your account
  • Have one to one access to your personal Recruitment Co-ordinator

You can create an account by using our online form. It is really easy and only takes a few seconds.  Your email address is your user name and you can change and edit your password or other details at anytime.  You can also register by calling the Recruitment Team on 0800 953 0072 Monday to Friday 9.00am until 5.30pm

Third Step - Create an Application

When you have selected pubs you are interested in we will ask you to complete an Application Form.  You can also do this online.  We will ask you for more information about yourself and the type of pub business you are looking for and if appropriate you can complete details about your co-applicant.

Your personal Recruitment Co-ordinator can help you with this and explain more, if you wish.  If you have completed an Application Form you will be able to register an interest in more geographic areas and access and store more information.  Your Recruitment Co-ordinator can personally help you to hone your search by better understanding your needs and aspirations.

Fourth Step - Upload a Business Plan

When you have determined the specific pubs you are interested in we will ask you to create a Business Plan.    Once we have received your business plan, we will arrange an appointment for you to discuss each plan with the Regional Manager responsible for the pub.

Once the Regional Manager agrees the plan with you and the detail of the tenancy or lease we will introduce you to your Legal Co-ordinator who is there to guide you and your advisors through the process to completion.

We recommend that you take independent legal advice at all times.  Your Business Plan must be verified by an accountant.  We offer a contribution of £250 towards your accountant's fee for the production of a business plan, which is credited to you on completion of the agreement.
