On the 2nd of October a team from the Enterprise Inns Sales and Service Centre will be throwing themselves into deep water to complete a 33 mile kayak challenge. This is not just a whimsical flight of fancy but a response to raise much needed funds for the charity Endeavour.
“We hope to raise £1000” says Spencer Browne, Team Leader. “The Team Enterprise is made up of, Nicky O’Connor, Lorna Teasdale, Dan Harnett, Alex Vedmore, Karen Millard, Lois Wynn, myself and Duncan Fredericks.”
Taking up the challenge.
It was Julie Simpson the licensee at the Midland pub in Killmarsh Sheffield who inspired the team from the SSC to take up this challenge.
“Julie has been involved with raising funds for the charity Endeavour for 18 years and we thought it would be a great team building opportunity to do this challenge”.
DHL Trade Team, one of Enterprise Inns major supply partners, are also entering a team. “We can’t have the DHL Trade Team doing better than us!” says Spencer.
All in a good cause.
